What Shippy is not.
Shippy is a consumer freight forwarder built for Hawaii residents on single-box air shipments in the 5–100 lb range. We are not the right fit for heavy furniture, pallet freight, or vehicle shipping. - Not ocean freight. If your box is over 150 lb or moves on a pallet, use ocean.
- Not a cross-customer consolidator. We don't mix different customers' packages into one box. We do bundle your own orders into one outbound shipment when you buy from multiple stores in the same week — up to 5 boxes per bundle, at no extra charge.
- Not a broker. We run the warehouse ourselves and publish our own per-lb rates directly — nothing gets resold through a third party.
- Not international. Shippy ships from a mainland US warehouse to Hawaii addresses only.

Is Shippy cheaper than Ship To Hawaii?
We can't tell you for certain — Ship To Hawaii doesn't publish their rates. What we can tell you is that Shippy publishes a full per-lb rate table, photographs every package at intake, includes Package Protection on every shipment, and charges no membership fee. Ship To Hawaii does none of those four things.
How long does shipping actually take?
Your box is scanned, photographed, and live in your Shippy dashboard the same day it arrives at our mainland warehouse. After you review and authorize the outbound shipment, we hand it off on the next cutoff and air delivery lands in Honolulu in 2 business days, or 2–3 days to outer islands (Maui, Kauai, Big Island, Molokai).
Do I pay a monthly fee?
No. Shippy has no membership, no monthly fee, and no signup fee. You pay per shipment, at the published rate for your box's weight and dimensions.
Can I bundle multiple orders into one shipment?
Yes. If you order from more than one mainland retailer in the same week, we'll bundle the incoming boxes into one outbound shipment to your Hawaii address — up to 5 boxes per bundle, at no extra charge. You pay one outbound rate based on the combined weight and dimensions instead of three separate rates. The easiest way to use this: cluster your orders within a few days of each other so they all land at our warehouse in the same pending window.
Do I have to tell you about a package before it arrives?
No. Just use your Shippy mainland address and customer code (example: SH10001) at retailer checkout. When your box arrives, we scan it, photograph it, and match it to your account automatically — it shows up in your dashboard the same day. You don't need to pre-upload tracking numbers. You review declared value and authorize shipping after the package is already in our warehouse.
What if the retailer refuses to ship to Hawaii?
That's exactly why Shippy exists. Titan Fitness refuses Hawaii outright. Many Summit Racing SKUs carry oversize surcharges for Hawaii. Hundreds of Amazon sellers exclude HI/AK. When you use your Shippy mainland address at checkout, the retailer sees a normal mainland address and ships the box normally.
What does it actually cost to ship a coilover set to Hawaii?
