Pricing FAQ.
Is the box price really all-in?
Yes — the box price is all-in air transport from Fremont to your door, with no fuel surcharges, dim-weight upcharges, or holiday surges, ever. Your exact price depends on the box size and which island it's going to, and $100 of coverage is included. What you see at checkout is what you pay.
What if my stuff doesn’t fit one box?
We’ll move you up to the next box size automatically and email you before charging. If it’s a tight call, you can tell us in your dashboard whether to use one bigger box or two smaller boxes — we’ll pick whichever’s cheaper if you don’t.
How does bundling work, financially?
You’re charged once, when the bundled box ships. Until then, packages sit free for 7–30 days at our Fremont warehouse depending on plan, then $1/day up to a max of 30–120 days total before we move to disposal.
What’s the difference between Standard and Express?
Standard is 2–3 days door-to-door, on our nightly freighter. Express is +50% and gets your box on a same-day flight if you drop by 4PM PT — next-business-day to Oahu, +1 day to outer islands.
Heavy freight pricing?
Anything 50–300 lb goes by cubic foot at $2.80/lb. Furniture, bicycles, surfboards over 9 ft — that’s the heavy lane. Same all-air promise, 2–4 days. Get a quote in the dashboard or email us a photo.
Do you work with businesses?
Yes. Businesses ship on the same published per-box rates — no membership, no minimums, no contract. Ship regularly or have special requirements? Email brandon@glideover.co and we’ll help you set it up.
What can’t I ship?
Lithium batteries over 100Wh, firearms, live plants or animals, and FAA-classified hazmat. We can ship most food, electronics, and sealed liquids under 32 oz. If you’re not sure — ask. Most “I bet they won’t ship this” guesses turn out fine.
